Making Talkgroup or Hub
Calls
Talkgroup or Hub calls allow you to listen to up to 4
talkgroups (one primary and up to 3 secondary
talkgroups equals a Hub). You can only initiate a
call on the primary talkgroup but can respond to a
call on any of the secondary talkgroups.
Initiating a Group Call
1 Press and hold the PTT button to initiate a Hub
call on your Primary Talkgroup.
All phones that are affiliated with a Hub that has
your Primary Talkgroup as either a Primary or
Secondary Talkgroup will receive your group call if
they are not already engaged in an active call.
The first line of the display will indicate the Hub
number or alias followed by Primary or Secondary
Talkgroup. This can be assigned an alias. The third
line of the display indicates the Private-ID of the
unit initiating the group call, which can also be
aliased.
Note: Only valid if you have One Touch PTT
enabled, otherwise you must affiliate with
a group and then press the PTT.
1 Enter the #, then the Primary Talkgroup.
2 Press A under Join.
3 Press and hold the PTT button to initiate a group
call.
