Common Radio Features
Make a Phone Call
Use the PTT Button
Use the Preprogrammed Quick Access Phone Button
1 Press and release the PTT
button to make the phone
call.
2 If your call is answered,
press the PTT button to talk;
release the PTT to listen.
OR
If your call is not completed,
go to the “Phone Call Display
and Alert Prompts” table.
3 When your call is completed,
press h or the PTT button to
hang up. The radio returns to
the home display.
