Common Radio Features
Selectable Power Level
This feature lets you select the power level at which your radio will
transmit. The radio will always turn on to the preprogrammed default
setting.
Select LOW for a shorter transmitting distance and to conserve
power.
Select HIGH for a longer transmitting distance.
Use the Menu
1 Press U to find 3:5.
2 Press D, E, or F
directly below 3:5.
The display shows the
current power level (L or H)
along with /2: and +,*+.
3 Press D, E, or F
directly below the desired
power level (/2: or +,*+).
• The new transmit power level
is saved.
• The radio returns to the Home
display.
Note: To exit at anytime, press
h or the PTT button.
Note: The default setting
returns when you turn the
radio off and on.
