Turning Introduction Screen On or
Off
You can enable and disable the Introduction Screen by
following the procedure.

Press to access the menu.

Press or to Utilities. Press to select.

Press or to Intro Screen. Press to
select.

Press to enable or disable the Introduction
Screen.
The display shows one of the following results:
• If enabled, appears beside Enabled.
• If disabled, disappears beside Enabled.

Turning Radio Tones/Alerts On or
Off
You can enable and disable all radio tones and alerts, if
needed, except for incoming Emergency alert tone . Follow
the procedure to turn tones and alerts on or off on your
radio.
