Status Indicators
This chapter explains the status indicators and audio tones
used in the radio.

LED Indicators
LED indicators show the operational status of your radio.
Blinking Red
Radio has failed the self-test upon powering up.
Radio is transmitting in low battery state.
Radio has moved out of range if Auto-Range
Transponder System is configured.
Solid Green
Radio is powering up.
Radio is transmitting.
Indicates full battery capacity when the programmed
Battery Strength button is pressed.
Blinking Green
Radio is receiving a call or data.
Radio is detecting activity over the air.
NOTE:
While in conventional mode, when the LED
blinks green, it indicates the radio detects activity
over the air. Due to the nature of the digital
protocol, this activity may or may not affect the
radio's programmed channel.
Double Blinking Green
Radio is receiving a privacy-enabled call or data.
Solid Yellow
Radio is monitoring a conventional channel.
Indicates fair battery capacity when the programmed
Battery Strength button is pressed.
Blinking Yellow
Radio is scanning for activity.
Radio has yet to respond to a Call Alert.
Double Blinking Yellow
Radio has yet to respond to a Group Call Alert.
Radio is locked.
