Setting Audio Ambience
Follow the procedure to set the audio ambience on your
radio according to your environment.

to access the menu.

The settings are as follows.
Choose Default for the default factory settings.
Choose
Loud to increase speaker loudness when
using in noisy surroundings.
Choose Work Group to reduce acoustic feedback
when using with a group of radios that are near to
each other.
The display shows beside the selected setting.

Audio Profiles
You can customize the audio profiles for your radio
according to your preference.
Default
This is the default setting.
Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3
These settings are intended to compensate for noise-
induced hearing loss that is typical for adults in their
40’s, 50’s, and 60’s or over.
Treble Boost, Mid Boost, and Bass Boost
These settings are intended for a tinnier sound, a more
nasal sound, and a deeper sound.
