Charging a Standalone Battery
To charge only the battery - at step 4, insert the
battery into the tray, with the inside surface of
the battery facing the front of the charger, as
shown. Ensure the slots in the battery correctly
engage in the charger
Note: Ensure that the bracket in the charger is
adjusted to the correct position for either
Standard or High capacity battery. See
“Charging a Standard Battery” on page 22
Charging a Standard Battery
The drop-in tray charger has a removable
bracket that is adjustable depending on the
type of battery that needs to be charged. It is
designed to charge either the battery (with the
radio) or a standalone battery. The drop-in tray
charger's default position will charge a
standard battery. The following image shows
the orientation for each battery:
