Identifying Status Indicators
LED Indicator
The LED indicator ( ) shows the operational status of
your radio.
A
Solid red Radio is charging.
Blinking red Radio is transmitting at low
battery condition, receiving
an emergency
transmission, has failed
the self-test upon powering
up, has charging errors
or
has moved out of range if
radio is configured with
Auto-Range Transponder
System. Also indicates low
battery charge when the
On/Off button is pressed.
Solid yellow Radio is monitoring a
conventional channel. Also
indicates fair battery
charge when the On/Off
button is pressed.
Blinking yellow Radio is scanning for
activity or receiving a Call
Alert, or the flexible
receive list is enabled.
Solid green Radio is powering up,
sending a Call Alert or an
emergency transmission,
or transmitting. Also
indicates full charge of the
