Special Radio Features
Site Lock
This feature allows your radio to lock onto a specific site and not roam
among wide-area talkgroup sites. This feature should be used with
caution, since it inhibits roaming to another site in a wide-area
system.
Lock or Unlock a Site
Site Change
You can force your radio to change to a new site.
Change the Current Site
Press the preprogrammed
Site Lock/Unlock button.
• The site lock state changes.
1 Press and hold down the
preprogrammed Site
Search button to manually
force the change to a new
site. You hear a tone while
the radio scans for a new
site.
• Tone sounds
2 When the radio finds a new
site, the tone stops.
• Tone stops
