Common Radio Features
Using the Preprogrammed TX Power Level Switch
Conventional Squelch Options
Analog Squelch
Tone Private Line (PL), Digital Private-Line (DPL), and carrier squelch
can be available (preprogrammed) per channel.
1 Rotate the TX Power Level
switch. The power level is set
to low.
2 Rotate the TX Power Level
switch again. The power level
is set to high.
When in... this condition occurs:
Carrier squelch (
C)
You hear all traffic on a channel.
PL, DPL The radio responds only to your
messages.
LOW
HIGH
