For body-worn operation, always place the radio in a Motorola-approved
clip, holder, holster, case, or body harness, if available, for this product.
All Motorola-approved accessory, antenna and device combinations
comply with FCC occupational/controlled environment RF exposure
limits. Exposure information on various accessory, antenna and device
combinations can be found under the Display Exhibit section of http://
www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid after searching on the FCC ID number, which can
be obtained from the label of your radio. Use of nonMotorola-approved
accessories may result in exposure levels which exceed the FCC’s
occupational/controlled environment RF exposure limits.
If you are not using a body-worn accessory and are not using the radio in
the intended use position in front of the face, ensure the antenna and the
radio are kept one inch (2.5 centimeters) from the body when transmitting.
Keeping the radio at a proper distance is important since RF exposures
decrease with distance from the antenna.
Use only Motorola-approved supplied or replacement antennas, batteries,
and accessories. Use of non–Motorola-approved antennas, batteries and
accessories may exceed FCC RF exposure guidelines. For a list of Motorola-
approved antennas, batteries, and other accessories, visit the following
web site which lists approved accessories:
