Setting Tones/Alerts Volume Offset
Levels
This feature adjusts the volume of the tones or alerts,
allowing it to be higher or lower than the voice volume.
Follow the procedure to set the tones and alerts volume
offset levels on your radio.

Press to access the menu.

Press or to Utilities. Press to
select.

Press
or to Radio Settings. Press
to select.

Press or to Tones/Alerts. Press
to select.

Press or to Vol. Offset. Press to
select.

Press or to the required volume offset
level.
A feedback tone sounds with each corresponding
volume offset level.
7 Do one of the following:
• Press to select. The required volume offset
level is saved.
• Press
to exit. The changes are discarded.

Turning Talk Permit Tone On or Off
Follow the procedure to turn Talk Permit Tone on or off on
your radio.
