• If privacy is on, display shows beside Enabled.
• If privacy is off, display shows empty box beside
Enabled.

Security
This feature allows you to enable or disable any radio in the
system.
For example, you may want to disable a stolen radio to
prevent unauthorized users from using it, and enable the
radio when it is recovered.
You will not receive an acknowledgment if you press
during Radio Enable or Radio Disable operation.
NOTE:
Check with your dealer or system administrator for
more information.

Disabling Radios
Follow the procedure to disable your radio.
1 Press the programmed Radio Disable button.

Press or to the required alias or ID.

Press to select.
The display shows a transitional mini notice,
indicating the request is in progress. The green LED
blinks.
4 Wait for acknowledgment.
If successful:
• A positive indicator tone sounds.
