Site Controller – Theory of Operation
The Site Controller controls resources within the MTS, including assignment of frequencies and slots to mobile
stations. The Site Controller incorporates a Global Positioning System (GPS) module. The GPS module provides a
high precision timing signal used as reference for the Base Radio receive and transmit functionality.
