4. Do one of the following:
• For voice commands, say the appropriate command. For a list of commands, search
Windows® Help and Support for “speech commands.”
• For dictation, open the program you want to use and start speaking.

Using the battery
The J3600 Tablet PC includes a high-capacity Lithium-ion battery that fits into the back of
the unit. Under optimal conditions, you can run the Tablet PC on battery power for about
four hours per battery. The J3600 is equipped with two battery bays so you can choose to
run on one or two batteries. If a second battery is not installed, the second battery bay
holds a non-functioning battery cartridge.
Checking the Tablet PC’s battery power
You can check the remaining battery power several ways:
• When the Tablet PC is plugged in to an outlet, the battery gauge shows whether the
battery is fully charged (green) or charging (amber).
• When the J3600 is running on battery, a battery status light located on the right side of
the Tablet PC displays the current level of charge.
• From the Motion Dashboard
• From the Windows® notification area
The battery status light is located on the right side of the J3600, which you can use to
monitor your battery.
