Setting up an external display
You can use your J3600 with an external monitor or projector.
Display settings
When connecting to an external display, you can specify whether to:
• Duplicate (mirror) the displays.
• Extend the Tablet PC’s display to span across the external monitor.
• Use the external monitor only or use the Tablet PC’s display only.
You can choose from one of the following display schemes:
Mirror display scheme
Mirror display Duplicates the Tablet PC’s desktop on both
the display and monitor. This is useful
when using your Tablet PC with a
projector.
Extended with
Monitor Primary
Expands the desktop area across the Tablet
PC and external monitor, where the
external monitor is the primary display.
Extended with Tablet
Primary
Expands the desktop area across the Tablet
PC and external monitor, where the tablet
is the primary display.
Monitor Only Desktop appears only on the monitor.
Tablet Only Desktop appears only on the Tablet PC.
