NOTES FOR SAFETY/SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
To avoid being electrocuted, do not touch the lamp socket while the light is on as a high
voltage current is being supplied to the bulb.
Because the bulb produces a large amount of heat, do not touch the housing, socket or bulb
when on.
This instruction manual needs to be consulted in all cases where this symbol is used, in order
to find out the nature of the potential HAZARD and any actions which have to be taken.
This product has been tested to the requirements of CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 61010-1, second
edition, including Amendment 1, or a later version of the same standard incorporating the
same level of testing requirements.
Protective grounding is essential for the use of this product; Ensure the user insert it with
good protective earthing socket.
When you place the device, ensure the plug or appliance coupler easy to dial out when the
state of emergency.
The equipment should be used on the desk; it cannot be used on the ground.
The MXH-100 starter should be connected with lamp house first, then plug in the cord to an
AC outlet with tested ground conductor and connection.
To ensure safety, only use lamp house supplied by Motic.
At all times follow the additional safety advises from Lamp Manual to be aware of lamp or
lightsource specific safety warnings.
Do avoid to touch the lamp socket while the light is starter unit is on, as this is a high voltage
area and it should be always handled with care!
