3.16 Attaching the Lumos lamp house

Ɣ Attach the Mercury lamp house or Lumos LED lamp to the microscope using the dovetail on the

Epi-fluorescence attachment.

Ɣ Align the positioning pin on the Mercury lamp house (or Lumos) flange with the positioning

groove on the dovetail mount of the fluorescence attachment (Fig. 35-1 / 35-3)

Ɣ Secure the dovetail with the provided Allen Key as shown in Fig. 35-2 / 35-4.

3.16.1 Connecting cables to the Lumos and use of the ports: (Fig. 36)

1. DC IN port for connecting the power supply.

2. USB port for connecting the computer.

3. CTRL port for connecting the fluorescent intermediate power supply and data transfer to the

ANNALSIS port.
