1. Standard Folding of Special Paper
Do not put neither hands nor ngers inside the machine during operation. You also need to be
careful not to get your hair, accessories and wear caught in the machine.
1-1. Single Folding Thick Paper

/34 lb into two, the edge of the folding line of the paper or
a part near the center may bend due to environmental conditions (temperature, humidity), paper size, paper
ber direction, etc. When this occurrs, follow the procedures below.

While pressing the key, press the
key to change [CF2 length] from [0.0mm]
to [0.4mm](EU)/[0.02inch](North
America).
The folding stopper of the second folding
plate moves by 0.4 mm/0.02 inch to widen the
paper conveyance path, resulting in smooth
conveyance of thick paper.
If mis-feed or double-feed occurs, refer to

Procedures ( p.2-2).
Test folded sample

Check the nish of test folding.
Check for folding misalignment using the
second test folded sample.
If folding misalignments occur, refer to
Chapter 3 "ADVANCED OPERATION"“5.
Correcting Folding Misalignment”
( p.3-20 ).

After completing adjustments, set the
count mode either to the add count or
to the subtract count, then press the
key to start folding operations.
