F. Install the 4-watt bulb.
G. Plug the control unit into the outdoor
outlet. Cover the photo cell with black
electrical tape to ensure all light is
blocked from the photo cell.
H. Slide lens base into top of pole and
pull cable from bottom of pole, removing
anyslackcable(asshowningure8).
Note: if lights are to be mounted on
wooden deck, remove stakes and
attach unit to deck with wood screws
(not included) as shown in Figure 10.
I. Push completed light unit into ground at
desired locations. WARNING: to avoid
breaking the light assembly, do not push
into ground by holding the top of the head.
Push by grasping the light post as shown
in Figure 9.
J. Place assemble lighting head on the lens
as shown in Figure 11 and turn clockwise
until it locks into place.
K. Repeat assembly procedure for
remaining units.
L. Remove electrical tape from photo
eye on control unit.
M. It is optional to bury the low voltage
cable or cover with mulch.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM – Control unit normal,
but some or all lights not functioning
Check power.
Ensure control unit is plugged in.
Ensure bulb is making contact
in lens base.
• Checkxtureconnectionbyremoving
cam and cable. Look for bent terminals
in lens base and straighten if necessary.
Ensure black cam has been turned
180 degrees.
PROBLEM – Control unit normal,
but lights blink
• Ensurelightxtureisnottooclose
to control unit.
Another light source may be shining
at photo eye (security light, automobile
head light).
