PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Industrial video systems designed for easy determination of glass width in the oat glass bed.
The GEM-2003 consists of two industrial camera systems that can be used either within the spread, top rollers or exit-end
range. The associated software detects and analyzes the glass edges and the top roller tracks. As a result the GEM-2003
determines the gross and net width of the drift and the distance between the glass edges and the top roller track. The drift
indicates the deviation of the glass from the center position.
The measured values are displayed in the software interface and at the same time as an analog value (4to 20 rnA).
Positions are found in the video by colored markings. Optionally, the measured values via Probus, Ethernet, Modbus and
OPC can be transferred for further processing.
The GEM-2003 also offers the possibility of additional markers, drawn with a mouse click in the video image, to make
individual distance measurements.
Camera models can be selected with a resolution of 720 x 576 pixels up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. The integration of
cameras into the system is implemented via BNC inputs on your PC or network.
During commissioning, reference measurements are performed, guaranteeing accurate measurement results. Depending
on the cameras used, the GEM-2003 achieves accuracy up to + l-2mm.
