COMBUSTION CHAMBER PROBES
The CCTV cameras used in high temperature areas are installed in water/air cooled combustion chamber probes to protect them from the surrounding temperatures. Different furnace
types and wall thicknesses, different angles of view and the nature of the image recording desired each help dene a series of special requirements. In addition to standard lengths
and diameters, our combustion chamber probes offer:
• Integrated illumination in the case of problematic light conditions
• Rotatable combustion chamber probes
• Axial or radial viewing openings
• Probes with a twin viewing opening
• Probe casings made from stainless steel, titanium, special alloys or special coatings
• Probe lengths up to 394” (10m)
• Explosion-proof probes in accordance with ATEX guidelines
COOLING WATER
• Cooling water is pumped between the outer and inner wall of the probe casing (forced circulation principle) which dissipates the surrounding temperature.
COMPRESSED AIR / INERT GAS
• Compressed air is blown into the probes in order to cool the viewing opening and keep it clear of debris.
