ARP / SEQ (Continued)
DIRECTION
The function of this switch applies to both the Arpeggiator and the
Sequencer. It selects the order in which the notes are played.
ORDR (ORDER)
ARPEGGIATOR (ORDR)
The arpeggiated notes will play in the same order as they were originally
played on the keyboard.
SEQUENCER (ORDR)
The Sequencer will play notes from the beginning of the pattern to the end.
FWD / BKWD (FORWARD/BACKWARD)
ARPEGGIATOR (FWD / BKWD)
The arpeggiated notes will rst play in the same order as they were originally played, and then in the
inverse of that order.
SEQUENCER (FWD / BKWD)
The Sequencer will play the notes from the beginning of the pattern to the end, and then from the end
of the pattern back to the beginning.
RNDM (RANDOM)
ARPEGGIATOR (RANDOM)
The arpeggiated notes will play back in a completely random order.
SEQUENCER (RANDOM)
Notes contained in the Sequencer pattern will be played in a random order.
OCT / SEQ
With the MODE switch set to the ARP position, the OCT / SEQ switch species
the number of octaves that will be used to play the arpeggiated pattern. If the
MODE switch is set to the SEQ or REC position, this switch species which of
the three Sequencer les is being played or recorded.

ARPEGGIATOR (1)
Only the notes played are arpeggiated.
SEQUENCER (1)
Sequence 1 is active.

ARPEGGIATOR (2)
The arpeggiated pattern is played and then repeated one octave higher than the original.
SEQUENCER (2)
Sequence 2 is active.

ARPEGGIATOR (3)
The arpeggiated pattern is played and then repeated one, and then two octaves higher
than the original.
SEQUENCER (3)
Sequence 3 is active.
