START RECORDING

b.Whenconnectinganelectricguitar,bass,orsimilarinstrument,pleaseusea1/4''TScableandensurethe
INSTbuttonison.
c.Whenconnectinganunbalancedlinesignal,pleaseuse1/4''TScableandensuretheINSTbuttonisoff.
d.Forconnectingtoabalancedlinesignal,pleaseuse1/4"TRScableandensuretheINSTbuttonisoff.
5.2、Inputgainleveladjustment
PleaseadjusttheinputgainlevelviatheGAINknobaccordingtotheactualrecordinginputlevel(Confirm
thedistancebetweenmicrophoneandtargetortheoutputlevelofinstrument).Makesuretheinputlevel
indicatorisORANGE.IftheinputlevelindicatorturnsRED,meaningthattheinputlevelistoohigh,please
rotatetheGAINknobanticlockwisetoturndowntheinputlevel.IftheinputlevelindicatorturnsGREEN,
meaningthattheinputlevelistoolow,pleaserotatetheGAINclockwisetoturnuptheinputlevel.
5.3、Openrecordingsoftware
Followtheprocedureabovetosetuptheinput,outputasSTEEPandcreateanewrecordingtrackinDAW.
5.4、Adjustthemonitorvolumelevel
AdjustthemonitorvolumelevelviarotatingthePHONESorMAINOUTknobs.
5.5、AdjusttheMIXknob
RotatetheMIXknobtoadjustthemixrateoftheanaloginputsignalandtheUSBplaybacksignal.WhenMIX
issettofarleft,itis100%oftheanaloginputsignal.WhenMIXissetto12o'clock,itis50%oftheanaloginput
signaland50%oftheUSBplaybacksignal.WhenMIXissettofarright,itis100%ofUSBplaybacksignal.
