ELECTRICALGROUNDINGINSTRUCTIONS:
Thisapplianceisequippedwithathree‐pronggroundingplugforyoursafetyandprotectionagainst
possibleelectricalshock.Itmustbecorrectlypluggeddirectlyintoaproperlygroundedthree‐prong
receptacle.DONOTcut,remove,oralterthegroundingprongfromtheplug.
OPERATIONTHEROTISSERIE:
1.
Yourgrillwaspre‐drilledfromthefactorytoincludemountingholesfortheMonumentGrillsRotisserie.
2. Installtherotisseriemotorontothemotormountbracketbyfollowingtheinstructionscontainedinthismanual.
3. Ensurethattherotisseriemotorisswitchedtothe“OFF”position.
Note:Therotisseriemotorcanturnupto11lbs.ofmeat.
4. Holdingthespitrod,placeoneforkontotherodwiththeforkspointingawayfromthemotorandslidetheforkto
thecenteroftherod.
5. Skewermeatwiththespitrodandslidethemeattothecenteroftherod.
6. Placesecondforkontothespitrodwiththeprongsfacingthe
meat.
7. Slidebothforkstightlyagainstthemeatandsecurelyinplacebytighteningtheforksetscrews.
8. Checkthebalanceofthefoodontherodbyrotatingtheloadedspitrodlooselyinyourhands.Therodshould
rotateevenlywithlittleeffort.Adjustthefood
accordinglyonthespittoachieveabalancedassembly.
9. Placetheloadedspitrodintothemotorassemblyandsupportbracket.
10.Closethegrilllidandturntherotisseriemotor“ON”.
Note:Erraticnoisesfromthemotorareasignofanunbalancedspitrod,whichcouldcausesevere
damageto
themotorgears.Ifyouhearerraticnoises,turntherotisserieoffandreadjustthemeat.
