Installation
If the restones are not placed properly (ONE LAYER ONLY),
ON N.G., uneven ame pattern will result. The restones will
get very hot while the replace is in operation, and should not
be handled until cool.
The is supplied with restones. Remove the Door and trim as
shown in the previous Instruction. Follow these instructions to ensure
all parts are removed or replaced as required. Once the Trim and glass
doors are removed place the restones randomly across the pan and
the burners as described in Figure 27 to 27c.
. Installation of the Optional burner covers , (Place
the covers end to end; do not overlap).
. Installation of the restones. (Ensure ONLY one
layer of restones cover the burner and pilot covers).
. Spreading the restones evenly .
Propane L42DF* Fireplaces, has the option of installing the optional
cultured rocks or restones. As described below, CAUTION, the restones
or cultured rocks cannot cover the burners. Doing so produces an
undesirable / uneven ame pattern, and eventual sooting. Install as
shown, Figure 28 to 28a.

Optional River Rocks
The has the option of installing the cultured rocks which mimic
real stone. These may be spaced at random, or in a visual pattern of
