Installation
Installing Firestones in N.G. (Natural Gas) Fireplaces
The H*38PR* is supplied with restones. Remove the Door and trim
as shown in the previous Instruction. Follow these instructions to
ensure all parts are removed or replaced as required. Once the Trim
and glass doors are removed place the restones randomly across
the pan and the burners as described in Figure 28 to 28b.
Note: (N.G.) Natural Gas models, Only cover the Optional
burner covers with one layer of designer restones.

Installing Firestones in L.P. (Propane) Fireplaces
Propane H*38PR* Fireplaces, has the option of installing the op-
tional cultured rocks or restones. As described below, the restones
or cultured rocks cannot cover the burners. Doing so produces an
undesireable / uneven ame pattern, and eventual sooting. Figure 29
to 29a.
Note: (LP gas) Ensure the optional river rocks or designer
restones do not cover the Burners.

Optional River Rocks
The H*38PR* has the option of installing the cultured rocks which
mimic real stone. These may be spaced at random, or in a visual
pattern of your preference. See the Montigo web site for photographs
and ideas.
