2 3 Before you begin installing the fan, Switch power off at Service panel and lock service disconnecting means to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel. Before installing this fan make sure the outlet box is properly installed to the house structure.
10 12 11 Fan House Blue Black Make sure the studs protruding from the bottom of the Mounting bracket are installed with threads all the way through the bracket. Black White White Ground Green Connect black and blue wire from fan to Black or (Hot) wire from house. Connect White wire from Fan to White (Neutral) wire from house. Connect Ground leads from mounting bracket and downrod to Ground lead from house. Refer to Safety Tips section of manual.
19 20 21 Place canopy over fan body aligning holes. Replace the 3 screws removed and tighten securely. Check motor for shipping stabilizers and remove if present. Take 4 screws from hardware pack and insert 2, one on each side of bracket to match the L slot screw holes in canopy. Keep 2 screws for later use. Remove the all thread studs from the lower part of the mounting bracket.
28 29 30 Install blades to motor using the 8 motor screws provided. Tighten screws securely. Remove the screws from switch housing and save for use later. Install switch cap to fan using the 3 screws provided. Tighten securely. Connect the plug from fan to switch house plug.
