Important !
• Evitare l’uso e il deposito in ambienti eccessiva-
mente polverosi o umidi, e soprattutto non
esponete la cassa alla pioggia: eviterete così
cattivi funzionamenti, il deterioramento anticipa-
to delle prestazioni ed anche il rischio di scosse
elettriche ed incendi.
• Collegamento alla rete:
- accertarsi che la tensione di rete corrisponda a
quella indicata sul pannello (di fianco alla presa di
alimentazione).
- utilizzare il cavo di alimentazione a tre poli
fornito insieme alla cassa.
- collegarlo ad una presa di corrente dotata di
contatto di terra.
• Accertarsi che l'interruttore di rete sia in
posizione "off" prima di effettuare qualsiasi
collegamento.
• Collegamento al mixer:
Se il mixer ha uscite bilanciate:
- possono essere collegate indifferentemente agli
ingressi XLR o jack mediante connettori XLR o
jack bilanciati.
Se il mixer ha uscite sbilanciate XLR:
- utilizzate normali connettori XLR bilanciati .
N.B: in tal caso, se il mixer non è un Montarbo, è bene accertarsi
che le uscite XLR del mixer siano sbilanciate a norme IEC
268: 1=GND 2=HOT 3=GND.
Se il mixer ha uscite sbilanciate Jack:
- utilizzate connettori jack mono (gli ingressi jack
si sbilanciano automaticamente).
• Collegamento in serie di più casse amplificate
W18A:
- utilizzare indifferentemente connettori XLR o Jack.
• Utilizzare sempre cavi schermati di adeguata
sezione e di elevata qualità
• Accertatevi sempre che i cavi non siano danneg-
giati. Avvolgeteli evitando nodi e torsioni.
• Per aventuale assistenza tecnica rivolgetevi a
personale altamente qualificato o alla Elettronica
Montarbo.
• Avoid operating and storing the enclosure in
damp or dusty places and absolutely never
expose it to rain: this will avoid malfunctions,
premature degrading of specifications and the
risk of electrical shocks and fire hazard.
• Power supply connection
- check that mains voltage corresponds to the
voltage indicated on the panel (beside the main
socket).
- use the three wire power cord supplied with the
enclosure.
- always connect it to a grounded outlet.
• Make sure the mains power switch is off before
starting any connection
• Connection to the mixer
If the mixer has balanced outputs:
- they can be connected to the XLR or to the
Jack inputs, without distinction, using balanced
XLR or Jack connectors.
If the mixer has XLR unbalanced outputs:
- use standard balanced XLR connectors.
N.B: in this case, unless you are using a Montarbo mixer, make
sure that the XLR outs on the mixer are unbalanced to IEC 268
standard: 1=GND 2=HOT 3=GND
If the mixer has unbalanced Jack outputs:
- use mono jack plugs (the balanced jack
inputs become automatically unbalanced).
• Daisy chain connection of W18A enclosures
- use XLR or Jack connectors without distinction
• Always use high quality, heavy gauge, shielded
cables.
• Always make sure that cables are not damaged.
Coil cables without knoting and twisting them.
• If service is needed, refer to qualified service
personnel only or to the authorized Montarbo
distributor in your country.
