The ever popular WOT 4 ARTF has been given a makeover for 2015, the primary aim being to make it suitable for either I/C or electric power.
A large hatch with a spring loaded locking pin has been installed in front of the wing to allow access for flight battery changes – alternatively
it also makes access for fuel tank and receiver battery installation simpler. A ply battery mount/tray system is supplied, which makes battery
changes quick and easy, yet ensures that the battery is safely secured. To complete the new package the model adopts a new colour scheme
in common with the smaller foam version, this being bright and attractive whilst aiding orientation.
In a similar manner to the WOT 4, the Acro Wot ARTF has been upgraded to allow either I/C or electric power to be used. New is a removable
battery hatch forward of the undercarriage in the underside of the model. The flight battery pack is taped to a ply mounting plate that then is
secured in the model with a tab and lock screw, allowing for extremely quick and easy fitment or removal of the battery. Performance with the
recommended battery pack and motor is stunning, matching that of one of the more powerful I/C engines. Of course I/C power can still be
used – with either power system the Acro Wot is a superb flyer, being precise and responsive, yet docile and easy to fly with reduced control
movements.
