Ripmax Xcalibur+ Jets
With the incredible success of the Xcalibur sport jet the next logical
development was a larger version, after all, bigger model always fly better! Developed
to suit 80 - 160N Newton turbines, the Xcalibur+ is quick and easy to assemble, with superb
access to turbine and all of the onboard equipment due to the removable canopy hatch.
The fuselage is moulded in epoxy/glass as is the slide on nosecone, whilst the remainder
of the model is built-up from selected balsa and ply, before being covered in one of three
attractive and easy to see colour schemes. Available to suit are a dedicated air up/down
retract system complete with oleos, wheels, brakes and fill/operating valves etc, as well as
a moulded fibreglass fuel tank of no less than 4.6 Litres, allowing plenty of flight time. Flight
performance of the Xcalibur+ is superb, with a very wide speed range, amazing slow flight
ability and stability, whist being fully aerobatic, and with a turbine at the upper end of the
power range, stunning acceleration and vertical climb qualities.

Developed specifically for the Xcalibur+, this air up/down system
comes complete with trailing link oleos which gives superb shock
absorbing qualities for less than perfect landings – or runways. Also
supplied complete with wheels, brakes and ancillary parts.
With a huge 4.6 Litre capacity, this moulded fibreglass fuel tank is
designed to fit into the Xcalibur Plus perfectly, and allows long flight
times with minimal balance point shift as the fuel level reduces.
