Some
helpful guidelines from the
Head
Monster,
Noel
Lee, that will
help
you
achieve
the best
performance
from your
Beatbox.™
Thank you for purchasing
the
Beats
by
Dr.
Dre™
Beatbox from
Monster.®
Your
Beatbox
is
designed
and
engineered
to
sound
great
anywhere you
place
it.
But every
space
is
different,
so
there are placements
that
will
maximize
the
performance.
The
home
environment
can
present a
challenge
in
choosing
the
best
location
for your Beatbox. Room layout, furniture, curtains
and
drapes,
all
can
all
playa
role.
The
room
can
affect
the
sound
of
your Beatbox·by
the
reflections it causes.
SQme
frequencies will
be
amplified, while others
may
be
reduced, altering
the
character
of
the
sound. Any
boundary
surface
(back
wall, side wall, floor
and
ceiling)
can
cause a reflection.
The
trick
is
to
place
the
Beatbox
in
a
location
that
will
take
advantage
of
the
acoustic properties
of
your room
and
give you
the
best overall
balance
of
sound.
Distance
to
the
side walls,
back
wall
and
corners
can
have
the
biggest
impact
on
the
sound
of
your Beatbox.
The
closer
the
Beatbox
is
to
a wall,
floor, or ceiling
the
more bass reinforcement you will get.
Changing
the
location
of
the
Beatbox
in
relation
to
these surfaces
can
dramatically
affect
both
the
quality
and
quantity
of
the
bass.
Maximum bass
comes
when
it's
placed
in
a corner.
