Step 4
Using the 3 ft. (0.91m) RG-6 cable included in your kit,
connect one end to the device from which the cable
in Step 3 was disconnected (i.e., the satellite dish,
the multiswitch, or the signal splitter, etc.) and the other
end to the “DBS IN” port on the Combiner. Then, using
the 30 ft. (9.14m) RG-58 cable included in your kit,
connect one end to your SIRIUS antenna and the other
end to the “SIRIUS IN” port on the Combiner. If your
SIRIUS antenna is not already installed, consult your
SIRIUS antenna owner’s manual and install as directed
before proceeding.
NOTE
When the SIRIUS and DBS signals are combined together
in one RG-6 cable, the maximum length of the cable
should not exceed 200 feet.
Step 5
Inside your home where your satellite TV connection
ends, disconnect the cable from your satellite receiver
or set-top box that provides the signal from the outside
and connect it to the “COMBINED IN” port on the Splitter.
