POSSIBLE CAUSE

• Make sure electrical i)lug is i)lugged into a live power outlet.

• Gas not ttlHled on,

• Burner parts not replaced correctly.

• Holes in tile simmer rings or slits in tile burner rings may be clogged.

• Clogged orifice or wet due to spillage or b/IFneI_ not dry alteI" cleaning.

• Rubber discs below knobs are not l)ushed down through tile bezel

to tile wdve.

• Burner parts not replaced correctly:

ft. Yellow flames: Call for

service.

B,Yellowtipsonoutercones:

Normalfor LPgas.

C. Solt blue flames: Normal

for natural gas.

• If burner flames look like (A), call for service. Normal burner flames

should look like (B) or (C), depending on tile type of gas.

• If cooktop is connected to I,P gas, contact the person who installed

vour cooktop or iila(le tile convei_ion.

• When tile knob is at tile OFF position, it must be I)ushed in befl)re

it can be turned, and it can only be turned in a counterclockwise

direction, Similarly, when the knob is in the I,OW or HIGH positions,

it must also be pushed in to change flame settings.
