• Electrical plug is not phlgged into a live power outlet.
• Gas not turned on.
• Burner parts not replaced correctly.
• Holes in tile sinuner rings or slits in tile burner rings are clogged.
• Clogged orifice, or wet btlYneYs oF electrodes.
• Burner parts not replaced correctly.
A. Yellow flames: Call for
service.
B. Yellow tips on outercones:
Normal for LP gas.
g, Softblueflames: Normal
for natural gas.
• If burner flanles look like (A), call fin" service. Noimal burner flanles
should look like (B) or (C), dei)ending on tile type of gas.
• If cooktop is connected to I,P gas, contact the person who installed
Vo/Ir range or illa(le tile conversion.
• When tile knob is at tile OFF position, it nlust be I)ushed in befl)re
it can be turned, and it can only be turned in a counterclockwise
direction. Sinlilarly; when the knob is in the I,OW or X-HI
positions, it n/ust also be pushed in to change flanle settings.
• The light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace the bulb.
• The switch oi)erating light is broken. Call fl)r service.
• The ()veil controls are iini)roi)erly set. See the "How to set vour ()veil
for baking or roasting" section.
• hlcorrect cookware or cookware of iinl)rol)er size being used.

• Cookware is not suited for broiling. Use tile broiling pan and grid
that canle with your range.
