Self-Cleaning 27" Oven

If white spots remain, remove then/with
warm sudsy water and rinse thoroughly with
a vinegar and water mixture. These deposits
are usually a salt residue that cannot be
removed bv the clean cvcle.
If the oven is not clean after one clean cycle,
repeat the cycle.
You may notice some white ash in the oven.
Wipe it up with a damp cloth after the oven
cools.
If the shelves become hard to slide, apply a
small amount of vegetable oil or cooking oil to
a paper towel and wipe the edges of the oven
shelves and racks with the paper towel.

With proper care, the porcelain enamel finish
on the inside of the oven--top, bottom, sides,
back and inside of the door--will stay ne_
looking fin" years.
Let the range cool before clemlh_g.
We recommend that w)u wear Hfl)ber gloves
when cleaning the range.
Soap m_d water will normally do the job.
Heavy spattering or spillovers may require
cleaning with a mild abrasive cleaner. Soapy,
wet metal pads may also be used. Do not allow
fl)od spills with a high sugar or acid content
(such as milk, tomatoes, sauerkraut, fruit juices
or pie filling) to remain on the surtace. They
may cause a dull spot even alter cleaning.
Household ammonia may make the clemfing
job easier. Place 1/2 cup in a shallow glass or
pottery container in a cold oven overnight.
The ammonia flm/es will hel I) loosen the
burned-on grease and fl)od.
If necessary, you may use ma oven clemmr.
Follow the package directions.
Cautions about using spray-on oven clemaers:
• Do not spray on the electrical controls and
switches because it could cause a short circuit
and result in sparking or fire.
• Do not allow a fihn fl'om the cleaner to build
up on the temperature sensm_it could cause
the oven to heat improperl> (The sensor is
located on the lett-hand side of the oven.)
Careflflly wipe the sensor clean atter each
oven cleaning, being carefld not to move the
sensor as a change in its position could affect
how the oven bakes.
• Do not spray any oven cleaner on the
oven door, handles or anv exterior surtace
of the oven, cabinets or painted surtaces.
The cleaner can damage these surthces.
• Porcelain-coated oven racks may be placed
in the 27" oven dm'ing seltZclean.
