6. To perform the send, press [E
NTER/YES]. You will see a sysex message counter on the
bottom of the screen indicating how many sysex messages have been sent of the total
amount of messages.
SYSEX send mode “ALL” may take several minutes to complete, because of the
large amount of data transmitted.
Don’t forget to save the data on the device you recorded it to. At any time during
the transfer you can also interrupt the transfer by pressing [EXIT/NO].
To ensure that your data was received and stored correctly, use the SYSEX VER-
IFY function found in the SYSEX RECV menu.
You can always cancel the SYSEX SEND operation by pressing the [EXIT/NO] but-
ton.
Use the TM-1 MIDI interface available from Elektron for up to 10x the normal MIDI
transfer speed.

The SYSEX receive function makes it possible to restore previously transmitted data back
into the Monomachine.
1. Select FILE in the GLOBAL menu. Then select SYSEX RECV
using the [ARROW] keys
and press [ENTER/YES].
Use the [RIGHT] and [LEFT] keys to move between the tabs. Use the [UP] and [DOWN]
keys to alter the parameters. The LEVEL knob can also be used for setting the ranges.
MODE (mode of receival) controls how the Monomachine receives incoming sysex data.
ORIG - The kits, patterns, songs and global slot data received will be placed on the orig-
inal positions they were located at when they were transmitted. Using this method it is
not possible to select any start positions in the WRITE POS FROM window.

bal slots to be stored. Since the Monomachine does not know in advance what kind of,
and how much data it will receive, all you can specify is that the data will be placed start-
