tings. This means that once the MIDI clock message stream is cor-
rect, it will again be synchronised to external clock.
The Monomachine always transmits a very high precision MIDI
clock. It is often a good idea to use the Monomachine as master
instead of slave, as the timing of other MIDI equipment including
many setups with well-known Windows and Mac sequencers is not
always reliable.
MULTI MAP
The Multi Map Mode provides a fully configurable keymap for trigging pat-
terns.
On the SFX-6 you can enter Multi Map mode by pressing [MULTI TRIG]
while holding [FUNCTION]. The Multi Map mode is indicated by the <MULTI
TRIG> LED is flashing. You can also use the dedicated MIDI channel for the
Multi Map as described in section “MIDI CHANNELS” on page 89.
The keyboard now trigs patterns as set up in the Multi Map editor.
MULTI MAP EDITOR
You find the editor for the Multi Map keymap in the
CONTROL>MULTIMAP EDIT Global menu:
Each row represents one range of the keymap named Keymap Range
where one selected pattern will be trigged according to the settings on the
row.
Navigate in the keymap using the [CURSOR] keys. Adjust the settings
using the LEVEL encoder.
RANGE = RANGE
PAT = PATTERN
OFS = OFFSET
LEN = LENGTH
TRN = TRANSPOSE
TIM = TIMING
The Range column control the upper and lower key range limits for the Key-
map Range. Only the upper range limit can be set. The lower range limit is
set one key higher than the previous Keymap Range. Adjusting the upper
range limit will update the lower range limit for the next range Limit. Keymap
