3. Change pattern to the destination where you wish to paste your pattern
data.
4. Paste the data by holding [FUNCTION] and then pressing the [PASTE]
key. A message “PASTE PATTERN” will be shown in the display.
5. The pattern can also be cleared by holding [FUNCTION] and then press-
ing [CLEAR]. A message “CLEAR PATTERN” will be shown in the dis-
play.
Pasting data into a pattern overwrites any previous data in the pat-
tern.
The pattern data that is copied consists of notes, parameter locks,
the kit association, MIDI sequencer notes and Arpeggiato, Trans-
pose, Swing and Slide settings for all six tracks.
Pattern clear clears everything mentioned above, but the kit associ-
ation.
TRACK COPY
In grid composing mode, it is possible to copy the contents of one track to
another.
1. Make sure the “RECORD” LED is steady lit, so you really are in grid com-
posing mode. Select the source track using the [TRACK] keys.
2. Hold [FUNCTION] and press [COPY] to copy the data of the track. A
message “COPY TRACK” will be shown in the display.
3. Select another destination pattern if preferred, and select track using the
[TRACK] keys.
4. Paste the data into the new track by pressing and holding [FUNCTION]
and then pressing the [PASTE] key. A message “PASTE TRACK” will be
shown in the display.
5. The track can also be cleared by holding [FUNCTION] and then pressing
[CLEAR]. A message “CLEAR TRACK” will be shown in the display.
