The sounds are repeated for the octaves
above and under with adjusted pitch.
All parameters control all the percussive
sounds simultaneously. If you want different
settings for different steps of a pattern, use
parameter locks.
The Pitch (PTCH) parameter controls the
general coarse pitch.
The Sample Start Position (START) param-
eter can adjust the position where to start
playing the sample. This can be used to
avoid sharp transients at the beginning of the
samples. Setting START to 127 makes the
sample start playing at half the sample
length.
The Retrig (RTRG) parameter can make the
sample restart several times. The Retrig
parameter sets how many times the sample
will restart. Setting Retrig to zero disables
the Retrig function, and setting Retrig to 127
gives infinite retrigs.
The Retrig Timing (RTIM) parameter sets
the time between the retrigs. If RTIM is set
low the retrigs will create a pitch, allowing the
BeatBox sounds to be used as base for
melodic sounds.
