‘Upgrades’ are security systems that interface with your existing factory
remote central locking system - just lock the doors and the alarm arms,
unlock the doors and the alarm disarms. Manually unlocking with a key
does not disarm the system. Simple yet so effective. These models also
offer additional engine immobilisation to make your vehicle more secure
than when it left the factory.
If your vehicle has factory remote control locking, then a Mongoose
‘upgrade’ was made for you and your car.

Our 4 Star version is similar to the MAP80G but excludes the microphone glass
break sensor.

The 5 Star MAP80G offers the highest ‘Standards’ specification for any
‘upgrade’ with features such as; dual circuit engine immobilisation (in addition to
any factory immobiliser system), bonnet, boot & door protection, battery back-
up siren with isolating keys, two stage impact sensor, a microphone glass break
sensor, chirp confirmation of arm (lock) and disarm (unlock), PIN code override,
all black wiring – to name but a few.
The MAP80GNZ excludes the 2 stage impact sensor.

The MAP70GNZ is a 5 Star alarm ‘upgrade’ specifically designed to interface
with the latest CanBus controlled vehicles.
CanBus is the latest data technology now being used by almost all vehicle
manufacturers which allows a computer to control how the vehicle functions
but over far fewer wires. Once installed, you will not notice any difference in the
way your vehicle behaves – until someone tries to break in !
The MAP70 is manufactured in Europe, has UN and EU Standards
Certification and imported by Mongoose who support it with a 3 year product
warranty. The MAP70 offers a high level of protection with features such as;
engine immobilisation (in addition to the factory system), microphone glass
break sensor bonnet, boot & door protection, battery back-up siren, chirp
confirmation of arm and disarm.
At the time of installation, each MAP70GNZ is individually computer
programmed to operate your specific car – it cannot be used on any other
vehicle type.
