MCA500
The Mongoose MCA500 is a rugged, waterproof, compact, easy to use, yet
well featured motorcycle/scooter alarm & engine immobiliser system.
Both the alarm module and the remotes are waterproof to ensure durability
and long life.
Security is by way of an engine immobiliser, a remote adjustable shock
sensor, seat lift switch, ignition sensing and tilt switch if side stand only is
fitted to your motorcycle. Lift it off the side stand and the alarm sounds.
With features like low battery consumption, siren chirps and light flash to
confirm arming and disarming all make the MCA500 one of the most
popular bike alarms.

The system will automatically lock all the doors when your transponder handset is out
of reception range - typically 4~6 metres.
The M18B version will also automatically arm its built-in alarm and immobilise the
engine at the same time.
When you approach your vehicle – or come into the reception range - the doors will
automatically unlock. The M18B will also disarm but the engine remains immobilised
until you are ready to start the engine. It will not start if the handset is not present.
Handset buttons allow for override/manual control.
The M18 offers hands-free control of your vehicles locking and unlocking.
It can also be used for other hands free operations such as automatic door opening in
hospitals, factories, entrances etc.
The M18B also includes an engine immobiliser and alarm functions with the inclusion
of a siren and impact sensor.
