Clearances
Ensure that minimum clearances shown in Figures 6.1
through 6.4 are maintained. Left and right clearances are
determined when facing the front of the rebox.
Follow these instructions carefully to ensure safe instal-
lation. Failure to follow these requirements may create a
re hazard.
1. Sidewall clearances: The clearance from the inside
of the appliance to any combustible wall should not be
less than 6". See Figure 6.1.
2. Ceiling clearance: The ceiling must be at least 42"
from the top of the rebox opening. See Figure 6.1.
3. Back wall clearance: The appliance may be placed
against a combustible back wall.
4. Parallel wall clearances: The clearance from the
opening of the rebox to any wall that is parallel to the
opening should not be less than 36". See Figure 6.2.
NOTE: The canopy supplied with the unit must be installed
for correct mantel clearances.
