The venturi under the burner is equipped with an air shutter. The opening of the venturi has been

set at 3/16" for Natural Gas and fully open for Propane installation at sea level. The burner on

Natural Gas models may be adjusted for high altitude as follows:

To access the air shutter, remove three (3) screws securing burner to engine base and slide burner

to the left or remove from rebox.

• To increase air mixture, loosen the screw to open the shutter more. This will reduce soot

formation. Figure 43

• To decrease air mixture, loosen the screw to close the shutter. Flames will be more yellow.
