Checking the Fluid
Level:
1. Start the engine and
allow it to reach
normal operating
temperature.
2. While the engine is at
idle, turn the steering
wheel left and right
several times.
3. Shut the engine off.
4. The easy grip handle is
rotated counterclockwise
to remove the dipstick.
5. Check the uid level on the
“HOT” side of the dipstick.
It should be in the area of
“HOT” on the dipstick. This
is the normal range for the
dipstick. DO NOT exceed
the full mark.
6. If the uid level is low, add uid in
small amounts, continuously checking
the level until the “FULL” mark is
reached.
7. Insert the easy grip handle back in the
reservoir and rotate clockwise until
securely fastened.
Hydraulic Filter
Change the hydraulic oil lter every 15,000
miles, or once a year, for cellulose element.
Changing the hydraulic oil lter:
1. Using a 15/16" wrench, loosen the
center cover bolt.
2. Remove the bolt and cover plate to
access the spring and lter.
3. Remove the spring and washer to
remove the lter assembly.
4. After replacing the lter assembly,
reverse the process to re-assemble the
reservoir.
5. When attaching the cover plate in
the rubber cover seal, check for any
damage.

Changing Air Filter
The air lter is located in the roadside rear
compartment.
To replace air lter:
1. Remove screws and cover from air
cleaner body.
2. Remove air cleaner cartridge and
discard.
3. Install new air cleaner cartridge and
secure with cover and screws.
