GENERAL INFORMATION — 1
SCA - Term for Supplemental Coolant
Additive. Chemical added to coolant for
diesel engines to help prevent cylinder liner
pitting and internal corrosion.
Shore Line - This is the electrical cord
which runs from the motorhome to the
campground 120/240 Volt AC electrical
supply.
Stinger - An arm attachment on a tow truck
that is used to lift the motorhome slightly for
towing.
VIM - Vehicle Interface Module.
Volt - The unit of measure for electric
potential.
Watt - The unit for measuring electrical
power, i.e. the rate of doing work, in moving
electrons by or against an electric potential.
Wet Cell Battery - A type of battery that
uses liquid as an electrolyte. This type
of battery requires periodic maintenance
to clean the connections and check the
electrolyte level.
