Changing Parity
Introduction
From the Port editor screen, a port can be configured for even, odd, or no parity
checking. The factory-set default is EVEN parity.
Procedure
To change the parity parameter, perform the steps in the following table.
Step Action
1 Place the cursor on the current Parity entry for the Modbus port you want to enter.

<Enter>

Result:
A popup window appears in the top left corner of the screen displaying your
three Parity options:
2 Use an arrow key to toggle the cursor onto the desired Parity selection in the popup
window, then push
<Enter>
.
Result:
The Port editor screen is updated with the Parity type you have specified,
and the cursor moves to the Stop Bits column.
