Emergency Overview DANGER! CORROSIVE
Keep out of reach of children. May be corrosive to eyes. Causes skin burns.
May be harmful if swallowed.
Potential Health Effects
Eyes May cause irreversible eye damage.
Skin Causes skin burns.
Inhalation
Inhalation of vapors or mists of the product may be irritating to the respiratory system
.
Ingestion Harmful if swallowed.
Section 4: First Aid Measures
First aid procedures
Eye contact
Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. After initial flushing, remove any
contact lenses and continue flushing for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician or Poison Control
Center immediately. Obtain medical attention and take along these instructions.
Skin contact
For skin contact flush with large amounts of water. If irritation persists get medical attention.
Immediately take off all contaminated clothing.
Wash clothing separately before reuse.
Inhalation
If symptoms are experienced, remove source of contamination or move victim to fresh air. If
symptoms persist, get medical attention.
If the
affected person is not breathing, apply artificial
respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention immediately.
Ingestion
Call a physician or Poison Control Center immediately. Give one or two glasses or water if patient
is
alert and able to swallow. Seek immediate medical attention. Do not induce vomiting. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person
.
Notes to Physician
If the product is ingested, probable mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage.
Treat the affected person appropriately.
