Cuttingaplanktofit
Thelastrowofplankswillneedtobecuttofittowallsandotherverticalsurfaces.
StraightCuts:placealooseplankdirectlyoverthetopofthelastfullinstalledplank,makingsuretolineupalledges.
Usingaplankto
measurethedistancefromthewalltothelastinstalledplank,positiontheedgeagainstthewalland
markthelooseplankwithapencilwhereitmeetstheinstalledplankattheoppositeedgefromthewall.
Next,placethemarkedplankonacuttingboard.Usingacarpenter
squareasaguide,scorethepencillinecarefullywith
asharpknife,thenbreak/snap(orcut)theplankalongthescoremark.
CAUTION:Keepfingersawayfromtheknifebladetoavoidinjury.Installplankwiththecutedgetowardthewall.
Irregularcuts:Scribeplanktofitirregularshapes
suchasdoortrims,pipes,etc,andcutwithautilityknife.
ImmediatelyafterInstallation
Rolltheentirefloorwitha100pound3sectionroller.Restricttolighttrafficforthefirst24hours.
Replacethebasemoldingsandreturnappliancesandfurnituretotheroombyrollingor
slidingthemoverstripsof
hardboard.Sealallareasthatmaybeexposedtosurfacespills(i.e.tubs,toilets,andshowers)withsiliconecaulking.

Usingasharputilityknife,cutthroughacornerofthedamagedplanktakingcarenot
tocutintothesubfloor

Lifttheendoftheplankandcontinueheating
Assufficientheatisprovidedtheplankwillreleasefromtheadhesive
Liftouttheentireplankandwarmtheexposedadhesive
Installthenewplank
Setthenewplank
firmlyintoplacewithahandroller
Therepairiscomplete
