HELPFULHINTS
ShouldtheInverterappeartobemalfunctioningwesuggestthe
followingtoeliminateanyexternalproblems:
1. TurntheInverter“OFF”viatheCircuitBreakerswitchonthefrontpanel.
2. DisconnectallACwiringfromtheInverter.
3. DisconnectDCBatteryleadsfromBattery.Cleanallterminalsby
removingallgrease/corrosiononbothDCleadsandBattery
terminals.
4. EnsureyouhavesufficientBatterycapacityatthenominalvoltage
(specifiedonthecompliancelabelofyourInverter).
Pleasenote:Useminimum100AHBatteryorthesizeof
asubstantialCarBattery.
5. MakeconnectiondirectlytoBatteryterminalsandensureall
connectionsaretight.
7. EnsureBatteryvoltageiswithinthecorrectlimitsasoutlinedinthe
section ofthismanual.Ifyoudonot havea
DCvoltmeterormultimetercheckthefrontpanelforOvervoltsand
Undervolts EDs.
8. TurntheInverterONviatheCircuitBreakerswitchonthefrontpanel.
ObservethelightsonthefrontleftofyourInverter.Referto
forexplanationofIndicatorlights.
9. PluginvariousappliancesandmonitortheInvertersoperation.
* RememberthattheInverterautomaticallystartswhenaloadis
applied.
* Makesureleadsandterminalsarenotcorrodedorfaultyinanyway.
* MakesuretheInvertergoesintoSTANDBYwithnoloadswitchedon.
* MakesuretheCircuitBreakerisresetproperly.IfunsureswitchOFFand
ONagain.
6. RemoveotherwiringfrombatterytoensurethattheInverteristheONLY
deviceconnectedtobatterybank

Dipswitchsettingsapplytoallmodelsfrom1000W-1800Winclusive.
InordertoaccesstheseoptionsyouhavetoopentheInverter.Before
alteringthesettingsswitchtheInverterOFF,adjustthesettingandswitchthe
InverterbackONagain.Werecommendtheseadjustmentsbecarriedoutby
qualifiedpersonneloryoursysteminstaller.
IfyouneedtooperateAmericanorJapaneseequipmentthisoptionwill
allowyourInvertertooperateat60Hz.
ThisfeatureisdesignedtorestarttheInverterandmaintainpowerintheevent
ofanexternalfault.ShouldtheInvertershutdownduetoundervoltage,over
temperatureoranyfaultconditionitwillattempttoresetevery8minutesuntil
thefaultconditionclearsandnormaloperationresumes.
ForoverloadshutdowntheInverterwillonlyattempt5restarts.IftheInverter
cannotresumenormaloperationwithin5restarts,itwillremainOFFuntilreset
manually.Thispreventscontinuousre-applicationofpowertofaulty
appliancesorwiring.
ForundervoltageshutdowntheInverterwillrestartwhenthebatteryvoltage
reachesthereconnectvalueasshowninthetablebelow.
